Important information about Jack’s Beans

We are pleased to inform you of the sale of the Jack’s Beans vended coffee business to Fresh on the Go Ltd, which was completed on 12th January 2019.

Fresh on the Go is a business that specialises in innovative coffee-to-go solutions, so will add real value to the Jack’s Beans proposition and provide Jack’s Beans coffee retailers with focused support and services. Fresh on the Go have exciting plans for the future, which will benefit both customers and consumers.

Smiths News and Fresh on the Go will be working closely together over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition.

Jack’s Beans customers don’t need to take any action at the moment. Jack’s Beans contracts will transfer automatically to Fresh on the Go. Please note that, for legal reasons, we will send customers a separate notice of assignment of contract, which should kept as a record, but contracts will transfer automatically on the same terms and conditions. Fresh on the Go will contact Jack’s Beans customers in the coming days with further information.

The sale of Jack’s Beans has no effect on customers current supply or billing arrangements with Smiths News for newspapers and magazines, which continue as normal.

We are delighted to have been able to reach this agreement with Fresh on the Go. We feel this is good news for customers given the specialist skills and exciting plans that Fresh on the Go have in place. Jack’s Beans is a strong brand and a great product which will undoubtedly benefit from the focused attention that Fresh on the Go will provide.
